Meet the Artists
The Laulainen family is known for being artistic. Photography, illustration, drawing, woodworking and intricate sewing are where we put most of our focus. Typically we’ve only really shared our art with close family and friends, but now we’re branching out and sharing our art with everyone.
Right now, we’re just featuring art from four of us, but expect to see pieces from more of the family further down the road.
Anita
Anita is #10 in the family. A professional designer at an advertising agency in Anchorage, Alaska, she specializes in graphic design, digital illustration and photography. Her most notable art is the design seen on the northern lights artistic license plate that came out in 2019. On the shop page, you can purchase photo prints, illustration prints, cards, postcards, stickers, magnets, and items incorporating her artistic license plate art. Expect to see more of the same in future product launches.
Sandra
Sandra is #13 in the family. Graphite, colored pencil and acrylic painting are her media of choice. She shares a few of her select art pieces on her instagram, @sandralaulainen.art. On the shop page, you can purchase cards and postcards of her drawings and paintings. In the future, expect to see prints, stickers, magnets and other items featuring her drawings, designs and paintings.
Brenda
Brenda is the matriarch of the family. Her artistic interests include sewing, quilting, writing and making hand-stitched cards. She will have some holiday hand stitched cards available, and is currently working on a book.
Delaney
Delaney is Brenda’s granddaughter and Sandra and Anita’s niece. She likes drawing and coloring. On the shop page, you can purchase sticker sheets featuring her designs. A percentage of the profits made from Delaney’s designs will go into Delaney’s Future Education Fund. Expect to see more stickers from her in the future!
